Hello Everyone

I am not a successful wage earner or saver....a tightwad, yes...but nothing to show for my stingy-ness. This is a personal log of my journey on becoming an EFFECTIVE tightwad.

I have joined the Save $500 challenge at:

I pledge to put a dollar away into my Rainy Day Fund everyday by looking for one of a "1000 ways to save a dollar"...this sounds painless enough.

I also like the idea of pledging 10 minutes everyday doing research on how to lower current bills, and other pursuits of rebates, coupons and discounts.

Okay so saving $1 every day, and spending 10 minutes per day in tightwad administrational duties. I think I can handle this.
